Industry Planting Day - Jardine Park

Gather the team and do your bit to support critical environmental mahi in our region.

Love Queenstown is once again partnering with the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust and Mana Tāhuna to bring the tourism community together for a day of connection, collaboration, and hands-on climate action. This event is proudly supported by Skyline Queenstown.

There are 2,000 native seedlings to plant, as well as community nursery tours and educational sessions running throughout the day.

What to bring:
Please bring your own gloves, come dressed comfortably for outdoor activities, and ensure you have appropriate gear for the conditions on the day. Don't forget your sunscreen, hat, and refillable water bottle, plus a wind and / or waterproof layer.

What’s included:
Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided, as well as a shared BBQ lunch between the morning and afternoon sessions from 12-1pm (all welcome!). A big thank you to Skyline for generously catering this event.

Transport and parking:
The crew at LSQ are running two shuttles to transport volunteers from Queenstown and Frankton to Jardine Park for the morning and afternoon sessions. Book a seat on the van below, otherwise please carpool, bike, or bus where possible. Parking on site is limited.

This event is a collaboration between the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, Mana Tāhuna, Love Queenstown, Skyline, McConnell Dowell, and the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
