Te Atamira Community Planting Day

Come and plant your new community outdoor space at Te Atamira with support from Mitre 10 Mega Helping Hands. Help transform the outdoor space with greenery, then enjoy a sausage sizzle thanks to Mitre 10 Mega Queenstown.

 

Leave your green mark at Te Atamira’s Community Planting Day! On Saturday 5 April from 10:30am – 1:30pm, join us to put 1300 plants in the ground and bring our outdoor space to life! No gardening experience is needed - just bring your community spirit and a pair of gloves if you have them.

After a morning of planting, enjoy a well-earned sausage sizzle, generously sponsored by Mitre 10 Mega Queenstown.

Whether you stay for 30 minutes or the whole event, your contribution will help shape a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone.

Here’s what to expect:

• Drop in any time between 10:30am – 1:30pm

• Help put 1300 plants into the ground

• Holes will be pre-dug by our friends at TSA Riley

• Sausage sizzle courtesy of Mitre 10 Mega Queenstown
