Lake Hayes Pavilion is about as picturesque a planting site as you could find!! We invite you all to join us on Saturday September 13th for a community planting day to add a further 1000 plants to this iconic lakeside site.
The hard work of digging holes will already be done and the job on the day will be to get native plants into their forever homes. Look out for the green flags and you will find us down the rowing club end of the reserve.
As is tradition, we will stop for a yummy morning tea provided by our friends at the Hilton Hotel so that we can take some time to catch up and enjoy that view!
It will also be the end of Welcoming Communities Week and whether youre a long term local or a newcomer to town, it is a great way to meet other community members by taking part in a meaningful local conservation project.
