Join us this spring at a community planting day out at beautiful Slopehill Reserve. This site is a wonderful example of what the community can achieve together when we commit to a long term vision.
Over the years Slopehill Reserve has being transformed from farm pasture and weeds into a thriving biodiverse habitat.
Volunteers will be adding 1000+ native plants to the more than 40,000 native plants that have already been planted at this site.
New to tree planting? No prior experience is necessary and their friendly team will show you everything you need to know about planting native plants.
This is a drop-in style event starting from 9am. Bring your family and friends - all welcome.
**Morning tea and hot drinks kindly provided by Crowne Plaza Queenstown**
WHAT TO BRING: Gardening gloves (loan gloves available), sturdy footwear or gumboots.
LOCATION: Slope Hill Road (access off SPEARGRASS FLAT ROAD only), right next to the Queenstown Bike Trail.
